Isuzu Motors India has achieved a significant milestone by rolling out its one lakh vehicle from its advanced manufacturing facility in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh. This accomplishment reflects Isuzu’s strong commitment to the Indian market and its growing prominence in the country’s automotive industry.
The Isuzu D-MAX V-Cross, a model celebrated for its durability and reliability, achieved one lakh production milestone. The event marking this milestone was graced by prominent dignitaries, including Dr. N. Yuvaraj, Secretary to Government, Industries Commerce & Food Processing Department, Andhra Pradesh, as the chief guest. Other notable attendees were Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder & MD of Sri City, and Makoto Sado, Chairman of the Sri City Japanese Company Group.
Isuzu Motors India began its operations in 2016 with the establishment of its manufacturing plant at Sri City. Expanding its capabilities, the company inaugurated Phase-II operations in 2020, which included a state-of-the-art press shop and engine assembly plant. To date, the facility has produced over 14,00,000 pressed parts, showcasing its robust manufacturing capabilities.
Driven by increasing demand, Isuzu Motors India has doubled its vehicle and engine production in the past two years. This growth highlights the company’s adaptability and commitment to meeting customer needs while maintaining its globally renowned quality standards.
