In a conversation with the media, Murali mentioned that he and his partner previously owned all the shares but have decided to share 33 percent of the company’s shares with the long-term employees. Additionally, they initiated a wealth-sharing program that involves gifting 50 cars to the employees. This isn’t the first time Murali has given cars to his employees; last year, he gifted around 100 cars.
Murali expressed that many employees receiving cars as gifts are getting their own car for the first time, especially among the younger staff. The video showcases various Maruti Suzuki cars, such as Baleno, Ignis, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Swift, Brezza, and Ertiga. One woman employee, who has been with the company for 5 years, shared her excitement, mentioning that she never expected to be considered for the gift, as there were initial reports that only the developer team members would receive cars. She appreciates the equal opportunities given to women in the firm. This practice of gifting cars to employees is not unique to Murali’s company. Last year, during Diwali, the owner of MitsKart pharma company in Panchkula gifted 12 Tata Punch SUVs to his employees as a special gesture. Similarly, another video from Tamil Nadu showed the owner of a tea estate in Kotagiri town gifting brand-new Royal Enfield motorcycles as festive bonuses to employees before Diwali. In this case, the owner gave a total of 15 motorcycles to the employees.
