Jeep Compass facelift gets mild updates to the interior and exterior
Jeep Compass facelift has been finally unveiled. The SUV is going to receive a update after 3 years albeit it has got a number of new variants over time.
The changes to the exterior of facelift Jeep Compass are very minimal.It features honeycomb mesh grille with 7 chrome slots. Slight tweaks are also made to the headlamp unit along with mild updates to the front and rear profile. What’s new is the design for the alloy wheels.
The major upgrade has been made to the cabin where the infotainment system will get bigger in size likely to be around 12.3 inch which will be the biggest in class. Along with this, certain changes will be made to the seat leather and dash trim as well.

For the european markets, the 1.3 litre FireFly turbo petrol has made debut in two states of configurations – 128 BHP and 148 BHP with 270 NM of peak torque. In India, the currently offered 1.4 litre Multi Air petrol powertrain is likely to be continued along with 2.0 litre fiat sourced diesel unit.

Variants of Jeep Compass facelift wikl be shuffled with the main addition being the availability of automatic transmission option in the standard trims which are present offered for the mid and higher variants. This will provide a better choice for the customers looking for the lower trims.
2020 Jeep Compass is priced between 16.49 Lakhs and 26.8 Lakhs for the off road specific Trailhawk version. With the update, the prices are expected to go premium by Rs. 20,000 for the mid and higher trim as they will get a number of new features. When launched, facelift Jeep Compass will carry an ex showroom price tag of Rs. 16.5 L to Rs. 27 L (Ex showroom).

Jeep Compass was launched in India back on July 31, 2017 and the facelift of the mid size SUV will be launched by the American carmakers in the Indian market in early 2021. But before that Jeep will launch the updated SUV in the European market by end of 2020.
The SUV competes vs Hyundai Tucson, Volkswagen T-Roc, Skoda Karoq and at the time it will be introduced, the SUV will be joined by another rival in the segment in the form of Citroen’s debut car for India, the C5 Aircross.
