Recently, Keeway did a massive price cut on the K300 N and K300 R to be in the competition. However, it is only valid if we compare the K300 R against the KTM’s RC 390.

The K300 R front design has split LED headlamps and DRLs, 17-inch alloy wheels with from the sides having cuts and creases to have that sporty appeal and the 300 R graphics on the body of the bike. The pillion seat is almost at the same height as the wind shield. The rear has LED taillamps and LED indicators. The KTM RC 390 has a big LED headlamp at the top center with the indicators right next to the windscreen and 17-inch alloy wheels as well. Moving to the side, it has air vents, cuts and creases for the sporty look and the KTM graphic all over the bike with the pillion seat at the same height as that of the windscreen and has LED taillamps and indicators.

As you can see at the dimensions of both the bikes, Keeway K300 R has a length of 2010mm while the KTM RC 390 has a length of 2145mm with a difference of 135mm. The K300 R has a width of 750mm while the KTM RC 390 has 760mm which is 10mm more than the Keeway K300 R. The K300 R has a height of 1080mm which is 250mm more than the RC 390 830mm height. The saddle height of the K300 R is 780mm which is 55mm less than the RC 390 835mm. The K300 R has 1360mm wheelbase which is 20mm more than the RC 390 1340mm wheelbase.

The ground clearance on the K300 R is 135mm which is 18mm less than the 153mm ground clearance on RC 390. The RC 390 has a fuel tank of 13.7 litres which is 1.7 litres more than the K300 R fuel tank. Even after all this, K300 R managed to keep the kerb weight at 165 kg while the KTM RC 390 kerb weight is 172 kg.

The Keeway K300 R is powered by a 292.4cc Single Cylinder Liquid cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC engine which produces 27.12 bhp and 25 Nm of torque that has 6-speed Manual Gearbox and gives 32.30 km/l fuel efficiency in City and 35.52 km/l on Highway. It can do 0 – 100 kmph in less than 8 seconds at a top speed of 150 kmph.

The KTM RC 390 on the other hand, is powered by 373.27cc Single Cylinder, Liquid Cooled, DOHC, FI Engine which produces 42.31 bhp and 37 Nm of torque that has 6-speed Manual and gives 25.89 km/l fuel efficiency in City and 31.22 km/l fuel efficiency on Highway. It can go from 0 – 100kmph in 6.49 seconds at a top speed 200 kmph.

As you can see at the features list of the K300 R and RC 390, the only missing feature between the two is from the K300 R as it does not have traction control as part of the safety feature.

As you can see, the Keeway K300 R has only one variant with three color options – Matte White, Matte Black, and Matte Red. All these three colors are available at a price of Rs. 3.01 lakh only. KTM RC 390 on the other hand is has two variants Standard which is priced at Rs. 3.62 lakh and Rs. 3.70 lakh for GP Edition.
