June 2024 sales of Kia India were 21,300 units reporting growth in both Year-on-Year (YoY) and Month-on-Month (MoM) Sales. Sales leaders were the Sonet, Seltos, Carens, and EV6 with Sonet yet again topping the sales for the company.
Kia last month sold 21,300 Units with a Year-on-Year (YoY) Growth by 9.84%, with Sonet again leading the sales with 9,816 units which is up from the 7,722 unit sold last year by 27.11% along with growth in volume by 2,094 units. Compared to May 2024 sales of 7,433 units, it still reports Month-on-Month (MoM) positive growth by 32.05% with 2,383 units growth in volume. Kia recently launched a new variant, GTX for the Sonet to boost the sales while also providing a turbo petrol engine with the HTK trim at Rs. 9.60 Lakh with an iMT Gearbox.

Seltos is at 2nd position with 6,306 unit sales reporting big YoY growth by 76.24% resulting in volume growth by 2,728 units. On comparison to May 2024 sales, it reports decline in sales by 6.38% with loss in volume of 430 units. Kia recently also updated the Seltos with new GTX trim to faster the delivery process while also barely missing out features aren’t available with this trim due to shortage of semi-conductors required for equipments like the Bose Sound System.

Carens sales aren’t going up, as it sold 5,154 units in June 2024 from 8,047 units last year resulting in 35.95% YoY decline; and down from 5,316 units in May 2024 reporting 3.04% MoM decline. Carens is getting a facelift update with tons of new upgrades that will give a tough competition to its rival, Maruti Ertiga and XL6. The EV6 sales were down from 44 units last year to 24 units in June 2024 with 45.45% decline; but reports growth over May 2024’s 15 unit sales by 60%.
Kia’s Product Portfolio will soon be expanded as joining the list will be the new-generation Carnival, new flagship Kia EV9, and an all-new SUV, for now known as the Clavis which will be available in both ICE, and EV.
