Kia Seltos will be launched in India on August 22 and the bookings for the SUV will be starting from tomorrow, that is, July 16 at Rs. 25,000.
Seltos is a sharp looking SUV with full LED setup and the ice effect on the headlights and tail lamps looks super cool.It rides on 17 inch alloys and has got a Tigor nose front grille.
It gets very premium interiors.It can be had either with all black or dual tone interior.There is a flat bottomed steering wheel and at the centre of the dash is a 10.25 inch horizontally placed infotainment system.Other noticeable elements includes automatic ac, wireless charging, powered and ventilated front seats.There is smart air purifier which can also be controlled through the mobile app.The rear seats gets two step reclining function as well.
Kia Seltos comes in three engine options – 1.5 L naturally aspired petrol unit with 113 BHP of power mated to 6 Speed manual and 7 Step CVT options, 1.5 L Diesel engine with 250 NM of peak torque with transmission options including 6 speed manual and torque converter as well a 1.4 L turbo petrol motor with 242 NM of maximum torque.Along with standard 6 speed manual gearbox option, it also gets 7 speed DCT as well.
Kia Seltos is a connected car in the form of UVO connect which comes with more than 37 features.It is a fully loaded vehicle with some of the top class features like 8 inch heads up display, sound mood lighting, UV cut glass, rear sunshade, wireless charging, smart air purifier, 3 adjustable headrests for rear occupants, smart electric sunroof among others.
Safety equipments list includes 6 airbags, Traction Control, Electronic Stability Programme, Hill Start Assist, All 4 Disc Brakes, front as well as reverse parking sensors and 360 degree camera with blind spot detection.
Kia Seltos is expected to churn out great sales for the car makers.It rivals the likes of Hyundai Creta, Tata Harrier as well as MG Hector.Price will be between INR 11 L – INR 17 L (Ex Showroom).Kia Seltos India Launch is on August 22.
