Kia motors India Launched the Sonet with a new Aurochs Edition, which costs Rs 11.85L
Kia Sonet has been in the market for a long time, it competes with the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Mahindra XUV300. To keep the car updated in the segment and grab some attention, Kia is all set to launch the Kia Sonet with a unique Edition named, the Kia Sonet Aurochs Edition. This special edition gets orangish accents all over the exterior and very few changes are done in the interior. The Aurochs Edition is available in the HTX AE variant. This being the upper-lower variant, it costs Rs 40,000 more than the HTX, that is this variant costs Rs 11.85L. there are no changes done to the Engine and the features list. Details about the Aurochs Edition
As mentioned above the Aurochs Edition gets orange accents in the exterior. Starting with the front, the first thing that grabs your attention is the grille. There is the same orange accent on the grille and in the upper right corner, it gets an Aurochs badge finished in the orange accent. Moreover, it gets a standard skid plate but with orange accents on both corners. Moving toward the side, the door cladding also gets an orange strip that runs across both doors. The alloy wheels are 16-inch Crystal Cut Alloys that have an orange wheel cap. The rear follows the same front skid plate design where it gets an orange accent on both corners. This orange finish is covered in 4 primary color options, Glacier White Pearl, Sparking Silver, Gravity Grey, and Aurora Black Pearl.
The interior gets a black and beige dual-tone finish which makes it feel a little more premium than the competition. It offers Silver stitched semi-leatherette seats, it gets a leather-wrapped Steering wheel, it gets a flat bottom steering wheel. The gear leaver also gets a leather finish the same leatherette finish is carried forward to the door armrest. It gets an instrument cluster that is connected to the infotainment system, even though it looks like it is in one piece it has different screens.
This car is powered by 2 engine options, one is the petrol turbocharged motor, and the 1.0L 3-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 120ps of maximum power and 172nm of maximum torque. It also gets a diesel engine that produces 116ps of maximum power and 250nm of maximum torque. The diesel engine is mated to a 6-speed IMT gearbox and a 6-speed AT gearbox. The petrol engine is mated to a 6-speed iMT and 7-speed DCT gearbox.
