Mahindra in June 2024 sold 40,022 units with the Scorpio (Classic / N) being a major contributor with 42.31% growth over last year while XUV3XO sales also go up by 66.86%
At No.1 position is the Scorpio with combined sales from the Scorpio-N and the Classic versions – continues to help the company to grow with 12,307 sales this month with a Year-on-Year (YoY) by 42.31% with volume growth by 3,659 units. However, the same can’t be said for the Month-on-Month (MoM) sales as the sales are down by 10.28% over May 2024’s 13,717 unit sales. Recently, Mahindra updated the Scorpio-N with ventilated seats for both first and second row, Auto-Dimming IRVM and Wireless Charging Pad.

The XUV3XO which not only got a name change, but also full new exterior and interior design, sold 8,500 units which is up from last year (when it was known as XUV300) by 66.86% YoY with growth in volume by 3,406 units. However, compared to May 2024 10,000 unit sales, it reports decline in growth by 15% MoM. Moreover, the SUV ranks at 10th position in the Top 10 Best-Selling SUVs of June 2024 sitting behind the Maruti’s Grand Vitara.
Mahindra Bolero sees drop in sales to 7,365 units from 8,686 units last year with 15.21% YoY decline and MoM Decline by 8.24% from 8,021 units. The XUV700 reports YoY Growth by 9.96% from 5,391 units last year to 5,928 units of June 2024, and it’s the only model to report positive growth over May 2024 sales of 5,008 units by 18.37%. Thar sales were at 5,376 units which is up from 3,899 unit sales last year by 9.96% while it down by 6.50% over the May 2024.

The Thar is getting a 5-door version with launch taking place next month with some crazy features that no one expected such as ADAS, Panoramic Sunroof, Dual 10.25-inch Displays, Front Ventilated Seats, 360 Degree Camera, and so much more. It’s also likely the Thar 3-Door will get updated with some of these features. XUV400 EV sold only 538 units which is down by 32.33% YoY and 23.82% MoM. The XUV400 EV will also getting updated again with revision of variants to keep it on the affordable side while also getting few new features.
Marazzo managed to sold 12 units which is down from 79 units last year and 16 units from May 2024. Few Days ago Mahindra discontinued the MPV because of lower sales.
