Mahindra May 2023 Sales – XUV700, Scorpio N, Bolero

Mahindra reported 32,883 units sales in May 2023 with 23.81% growth over the same period last year!

Mahindra reported cumulative domestic sales of May 2023 and it’s done 32,883 units which is up by 23.81% from the 26,560 units in May 2022.

Mahindra May 2023 Car Sales

Mahindra recorded 32,883 unit sales in May 2023 finishing at 4th on the overall manufacturer’s sales table. Only 7 models were on sales in May 2023 and they’re – Bolero, Scorpio (Scorpio Classic and Scorpio-N), XUV300, XUV700, Thar, XUV400 EV, and Marazzo. The other Mahindra model, e-Verito and KUV100 are not bringing any numbers in sales as the KUV100 is discontinued and e-Verito is just not selling. Mahindra recent launch was the XUV400 EV that rivals the Tata Nexon EV, and Mahindra is currently testing the facelift of the XUV300 and is expected to launch later this year.

The Bolero was the best-selling model for Kia in May 2023 with sales of 8,170 units which is down by 6.81% from the 8,767 units in May 2022, and the month-on-month sales is down as well by 9.76% from the 9,054 units in April 2023. Up next at 2nd position is the Scorpio which has combined sales number of Scorpio Classic, and Scorpio-N with sales of 9,318 units in May 2023 over the 4,348 units in May 2022 which is up by 114.31%, but the month-on-month sales is down by 3.11% from the 9,617 units in April 2023.

Mahindra May 2023 Car Sales!

At 3rd position is the XUV300 with sales of 5,125 units in May 2023 which is 2.05% year-on-year growth over the 5,022 units in May 2022, and month-on-month sales is up by 1.24% from the 5,062 units. Mahindra is testing the facelift of XUV300 and is expected to bring in some exterior and interior updates with launch later this year. Mahindra XUV700 is at 4th position with 5,245 units in May 2023 which is up by 3.47% from the 5,068 units in May 2022, and month-on-month sales is up by 10.26% from the 4,757 units in April 2023. Mahindra is currently testing the XUV700 facelift and it is expected to introduce few new features, and cosmetic changes with launch expected before the end of this year.

At 5th position is Mahindra’s off-road SUV, Thar has done sales of 4,296 units in May 2023 from the 3,209 units in May 2022 which is up by 33.87%, but the month-on-month sales has dipped by 18.97% from the 5,302 units in April 2023. Mahindra is testing the 5-door version of Thar and is expected to introduce new features with it and is scheduled for launch sometime in 2024. The XUV400 EV which literally looks the same as the XUV300 did sales of 696 units in May 2023 over the 902 units in April 2023 which is down by 22.84%.

The Marazzo is a 7-seater MPV which was an attempt by Mahindra to take down the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, and as a result it did sales of 33 units in May 2023, which is very down by 74.02% from the 127 units in May 2022. It has down no sales in April 2023.
