Mahindra has revealed the sales figures of December 2023, and it reports 60,178 unit sales which includes the Domestic and Exports.
Mahindra December 2023 Sales
Mahindra recorded 35,171 units in December which is a 24% year-on-year growth against the 28,333 unit in December 2022. The Year-to-Date (YTD) Sales has also increased by 29% to 3,33,764 units in FY24 against the 2,57,849 units in FY23. However, the Month-on-Month Sales has gone down by 12% from 28,445 units sold in November 2023.

Notably, in the Cars and Van category, Mahindra has not seen any growth as in December it reports only 3 unit sales against the 112 units in Dec. 2022 resulting in 97% de-growth. Even the YTD Sales was only 13 units in FY24 reporting 99% decline over the 2009 units sold in FY23. This takes the YTD Sales to 3,33,777 from the 2,59,858 units in FY23.
Moving to the Commercial Vehicle Segment, the only growth noticeable with LCVs is in the 3.5T + MHCV while the 2T and 2T-3.5T reports year-on-year de-growth. Sales of the LCV in the sub 2T category is down by 6 percent year-on-year to 2,849 units compared 3,031 units in its previous year. The YTD Sales are however up to 31,896 units against the 31,844 units in FY23.
In the 2T – 3.5T Category, sales have dipped to 22% from 16,170 units in Dec. 2022 to 12,668 units. Moreover, the YTD sales are also down to 1,45,107 units from the 1,45,351 units in FY23. The 3.5T + MHCV category reports huge increase in sales by 170% to 2,371 units against the 879 units in Dec. 2022. The YTD Sales are up by 184% to 18,571 units from the 6,532 units in FY23.
Three-Wheelers sales which includes the electric 3Ws has increased by 5% to 5,307 units from the 5,052 units in Dec. 2022. However, Mahindra exports numbers dipped by 41% from 3,100 units in Dec. 2022 to 1,819 units in Dec. 2022. Even the YTD Sales are down to 19,805 units from 24,733 units in FY23.
