The latest teaser for the Mahindra Thar Roxx showcases significant upgrades and exciting new features. Notably, the Thar Roxx will include a digital driver’s display sourced from the XUV700, alongside hill hold control and an Auto Emergency Braking System. These enhancements suggest the potential inclusion of an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), likely leveraging hardware from the XUV700.
The teaser reveals a 10.25-inch infotainment system and digital driver display, a panoramic sunroof, and luxurious white leatherette upholstery. The dashboard and door pads feature stitching, indicating that the top-end variants may offer soft-touch materials for a premium feel. Additionally, the Thar Roxx will be equipped with a Harman Kardon sound system, enhancing the overall driving experience.
The mid-spec variant of the Thar Roxx, as shown in the images, comes with a manual gearbox and lacks the 4×4 running gear, which will be available on higher variants. Buyers will have three engine options to choose from: an entry-level 1.5-litre diesel, a 2.2-litre diesel, and a 2.0-litre petrol, with options for 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions.
With prices for the Mahindra Thar 3-door ranging from Rs 11.35 lakh to Rs 17.60 lakh, the Thar Roxx is expected to be priced between Rs 13 lakh and Rs 20 lakh.
