What Features Does it Get?
The Mahindra Thar Roxx is set to outshine its rivals like the Maruti Jimny and Force Gurkha 5-Door with a feature list that could compete with compact SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Grand Vitara. Key features include front ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital cluster with navigation, a premium Harman Kardon sound system, a 360-degree surround-view camera, Blind View Monitor, and Level 2 ADAS.
Enhanced 4-Wheel-Drive (4WD) System
The Thar Roxx 5-Door incorporates the advanced 4Xplor 4WD system, similar to that in the Scorpio-N. It includes electronic brake locking and electronic locking differentials, and unlike a shift-on-fly system, it employs a traditional lever as seen in the Thar 3-door. The SUV also features a low-ratio gearbox, a crawl assist system allowing speeds between 2.5 kmph and 30 kmph, and ‘Intelli Turn Assist’ to minimize the turning radius by locking the inner wheels during tight turns.
Our Review
The Mahindra Thar Roxx 5-Door SUV is set to be a game-changer in the off-road segment, combining powerful engines, advanced platforms, and a feature-rich package that appeals to both adventure enthusiasts and urban drivers alike. We expect Mahindra to keep the starting price from Rs. 15 Lakhs.
