The Thar Roxx, inspired by the 3-door Thar, features a new grille with six double-stacked slots, upgraded LED projector headlamps with C-shaped DRLs, and optional LED fog lamps with a cornering function. The front bumper includes unique design elements and faux brushed aluminum accents. Higher trims have 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, while lower trims offer 18-inch alloys. The rear door features a vertical handle, with quarter glass resembling the Thar EV concept. Dual-tone paint options with a contrast black roof enhance the removable hardtop look. The rear design includes updated C-shaped LED tail-lamps and a redesigned tailgate with an integrated wiper and washer.
The Mahindra Thar 3-Door bears a strong resemblance to the Jeep Wrangler, featuring round headlamps, a grille with six vertical bars, a hard plastic front bumper, and a flat bonnet. Its side profile includes square windows, large wheel arches, 18-inch alloy wheels, and rectangular rear windows. The roof is removable in the convertible variant. At the rear, the Thar has a tailgate-mounted spare wheel, rectangular LED taillights, and a rear bumper skid plate.
The Mahindra Thar Roxx offers a significantly upgraded interior over the Thar 3-Door. It comes with a larger 10.25-inch free-standing infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 10.2-inch fully digital instrument cluster with a navigation view function. The cabin is enhanced with soft-touch materials on the dashboard, front and rear armrests, rear AC vents, a frameless auto-dimming IRVM, keyless entry, and push-button start. A major improvement is the addition of rear doors for easier access to the second row and a much larger boot space compared to the 3-Door version.
Inside, the Thar has a 7-inch infotainment system above round AC vents, with climate controls below and a grab-handle on the dashboard. It features a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, an analog instrument cluster with a TFT display, and fabric upholstery. The SUV has two levers—one for gear shifting and another for 4WD Manual Shift with High and Low Reduction Gear. Although it lacks a sunroof, the removable roof enhances the off-road experience. The rear seats offer decent comfort with a 60:40 split and a 6-speaker sound system.
