So, it looks like Mahindra is readying new set of updates for its XUV700 SUV, and its possible that it may introduce new variants which will have these additional features.
Mahindra XUV700 New Features: What you need to know!
Currently, Mahindra sells the XUV700 in 5-Seater and 7-Seater configuration. For 6-Seater option, people would consider other options like Scorpio-N, Tata Safari, etc. To compete, Mahindra will be launching the 6-Seater XUV700 with captain seats in second row. The leaked document reveals captain seats with foldable armrests, reclinable, and forward/backward slide function. There could be other features as well but at the time there are no details.
Captain Seats are best of people who want the ultimate rear seat of experience with the best possible comfort plus it can be used as a mobile office. This is one of the reason many carmakers are offering captain seats in the second row with Mahindra XUV700 joining the list soon. Another feature spotted on the brochure was the Auto-Dimming IRVM which is already available on Harrier and Safari Facelift. The document specifies that the auto-dimming IRVM will have an on / off switch to engage or disengage the automatic function.
If in case Mahindra is trying to match the XUV700 with its rivals, it could sport ventilated seats in the front row matching the Harrier, while the Safari is the only 7-Seater in the segment to offer ventilated seats in the second row with captain seats, and Mahindra could add the ventilated seats for second row captain seats. Other than that, not much is expected to offered with the 6-Seater variants, or for any variants for that matter.
If the brochure has leaked, it could indicate that Mahindra is targeting an late December 2023 or Early 2024 launch for this version.
