This year, in March, Maruti’s most famous and best-selling hatchback will receive a generational makeover. For the manufacturer, this will be a game-changing offering in the rival hatchback market.
New Gen. Maruti Swift
- A fourth-generation advancement will be implemented in it.
- Maruti’s Heartect Platform will serve as its foundation.
- With a few minor dimensional improvements, it will have a comparable design silhouette.
- It will have redesigned front and back fascia for a more aggressive look.
- It will have a dynamic bumper and a new grille design, along with a sharp new projector system up front.
- Unlike the present Swift, the side profile will include new, sporty-looking diamond-cut alloy wheels and traditional door handles on the back door.
- A new Sharp LED taillamp design and updated bumper design at the back will give it an attractive hatchback aspect.
- A brand-new Z-Series 1.2-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine with 88.5 horsepower and exceptional power and efficiency will be housed under the hood. It will be paired with a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission.
- A S-CNG version of the next Swift is expected as well.
- The New Swift will also have a hybrid version in the upcoming years owing to Series Hybrid Technology, which offers a class-leading efficiency of 35+ Kmpl*.
- Price: ex-showroom, expected to range from Rs. 6.5 lakhs to Rs. 10 lakhs.
