Maruti Suzuki will be launching the Toyota’s Innova HyCross based MPV which will be rebadged by Toyota for Maruti. It will sit above the XL6 and will make-it the most expensive Maruti Suzuki vehicle ever and therefore here are the top 5 things that you should know!

The dimensions of the Toyota Innova HyCross will be the same for the Maruti-based HyCross as well as It will have a length of 4755mm, 1845mm width, and height of 1785mm. It will have a wheelbase of 2850mm and ground clearance of 185mm with boot space of 300 litres.

Toyota is offering the Innova HyCross with two petrol engines with no diesel engines on offer. The first one is 2.0-litre TNGA in-line Petrol engine which produces 172.99 bhp and 209 Nm of torque and has CVT Transmission with Sequential Shift on offer. The other is 2.0-litre TNGA 5th Generation in-line Petrol-Hybrid which produces 183.72 bhp and 188 Nm of torque mated to a eCVT transmission. Since, Toyota is gonna rebadged the HyCross for Maruti, it might as well get the same engine options as well.
The Innova HyCross has upgraded safety features over the Crysta and got ADAS for safety. The ADAS has features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Auto High Beam Assist, Blind-Spot Monitoring, Rear-Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Keep Assist, and Pre-Collision System. The rebadged Maruti-based HyCross will get the ADAS function as well making it the first Maruti Vehicle ever to feature ADAS tech. Other safety features include ABS with EBD, six airbags, Tyre-Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), traction control, ESC, ISOFIX anchorages, and many more.
The Innova HyCross boasts features such as 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 9-speaker JBL sound system, ventilated seats, 360-degree camera, multi-zone climate control, 65+ connected car tech, Powered Ottoman Seats with Long Slide in the middle row, 8-way powered adjustable driver seat with memory function, powered tailgate, and heads-up display. While Maruti’s XL6 does offer features such as 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, and connected car tech, the Maruti-based Innova HyCross will receive all these same features as well.
The Maruti-based Innova HyCross is rumored to be launched later this year as previous reports states that once the Toyota’s Innova HyCross launches, Maruti will then launched their version HyCross six months after the Toyota’s Innova HyCross launched. The Innova HyCross launched in January 2023, so one can expect the launch in July 2023 or after that time. As for the pricing, Maruti might price it slightly lower than the Innova HyCross and could end up starting at Rs. 17.50 lakh.
