Maruti Suzuki ahead of the 4th Generation launch of the Dzire, they’ve reduced the price of the current Dzire to clear existing stocks in its inventory. The price reduction is applicable to AMT trims or as Maruti calls it, AGS [Auto Gear-Shift].

Maruti have reduced the AMT (or AGS) Trims prices by Rs. 5,000 for more and more people to adopt automatic transmission as Maruti reports, last year, the company sold 1.32 lakh AMT (AGS) models across its portfolio. The company anticipates a 15-20 percent growth in the financial year following this price revision. “We want more and more customers at the entry level to upgrade to the Automatic Variants,” said Partho Banerjee, Maruti Suzuki’s Sales and Marketing head.

With new prices effective from June 1st, 2024, the current Dzire Automatic trims is priced between Rs. 7.99 L to Rs. 9.38 Lakhs. This should help more people to transition from Manual to Automatic Transmission a bit easily.
Maruti later this year will be launching the new 4th generation Dzire during the festive season which will sport new 1.2 L Z12E Petrol Engine producing 80.46 BHP, and 111.7 NM Torque mated to 5 Speed Manual and AMT Gearbox. The CNG Option will launch at a later date.
In terms of features, the new Dzire will come with First-in Segment Single-Pane Sunroof, 360 Surround View Camera, new 9-inch Infotainment System with Wireless Apple Carplay / Android Auto, new 16-inch Alloy Wheels, new LED Headlamps & Tail-lamps, 6 Airbags as standard, and many more.
