The sub 4-meter affordable sedan from Maruti Suzuki is soon getting a big new generation update. The sedan known as the Dzire is getting a major update which will see it getting big changes along with some new features which will give its rivals a hard time to compete.
New Maruti Dzire: Exterior
The upcoming next-generation Dzire showcases big changes over the outgoing Dzire like a hexagonal front grille, sleeker L-shape LED DRLs and headlamps, revamped bumpers, and chrome accents around various elements like grille, fog lamps, window beltline, etc. It rides on new 16-inch alloy wheels and boasts new LED tail-lamps reminiscent of the newly launched Swift.

New Maruti Dzire: Interior
Inside, the Dzire resembles recent Maruti models – Baleno, Brezza, Fronx, etc; like new free-standing 9-inch infotainment, Marutidual-tone dashboard, new climate control panel with LCD display, 3-spoke, flat-bottom steering wheel, cabin complemented with fabric seat upholstery, USB-C and USB-A ports for charging, and 60:40 split rear seats. Moreover, on top you get first-in segment single-pane sunroof.

In Engine Options, the new Dzire will also come with the new 1.2 L 3 Cylinder Z12E Petrol Engine producing 80.46 BHP, and 112 NM Torque mated to both 5 Speed Manual and Automatic Gearbox. Maruti will also offer a CNG option with this engine except automatic transmission will not be available. This new engine compared to K12 version is more fuel efficient.
New Maruti Dzire: Features
The new Dzire will come with new features such as 9-inch Infotainment System with Wireless Apple Carplay / Android Auto, Wireless Charging Pad, Sunroof, 6 Airbags, 360 Surround View Camera, 16-inch alloy wheels, LED Headlamps, etc. Other than that, it’ll get Automatic Climate Control, Sunroof, Rear AC vents, 6 Speakers Sound System, Paddle Shifters, ABS with EBD, ESC, Traction Control, Front Discs, Rear Parking Sensor, and so much more.

In terms of pricing, the current Dzire is priced between Rs. 6.57 – Rs. 9.39 Lakh; the new Dzire is anticipated to fall within the Rs. 7 – Rs. 10 Lakh bracket, continuing its competition with models like the Honda Amaze, Tata Tigor, and Hyundai Aura when it launches in second half of 2024!
