Maruti Suzuki Engage vs Mahindra XUV700 – Design

When it comes to the Engage that is yet to launch, one can expect it’s front face to be somewhat similar to the Ertiga or XL6 except it might have a little bigger grille than usual with chrome finish on top of it. Moving to the side, it could have the same profile as the HyCross no difference as it’ll ride on the 18-inch alloy wheels. Moving to the rear, it could have the taillamps from the Grand Vitara and tweaked it a little bit to make it look different. Other than that, no exterior changes will be seen. From the inside, the interiors of the Maruti Engage will look same since it’s just going to be software change and possibly they could change the layout of it to the one in Grand Vitara. Rest everything will remain the same, no change.

At the front of the XUV700, you can see there is the grille with twin-vertical bars and the last twin vertical bars bends to give that flowing into LED headlamps which those two lines act as LED DRLs as well. The side profile of the XUV700 is just clean with roofline, the smart door handle for improved aerodynamics, and wheel arch lines. At the rear, it has the arrow-shape taillamps with the bumper finished in faux silver skid plate. From the inside, the XUV700 has 10.25-inch dual displays – one for infotainment system and one for instrument cluster. It has dual-tone dashboard, 12-speaker Sony sound system, and has panoramic sunroof. The rear seats are split in 60:40 ratio with recline option as well.
