With just 2 Days left for the official launch of the new generation Swift, mid variants – VXI and VXI (O) has leaked online revealing details about its features and specifications.
Few days ago, the top-spec variant, ZXI+ Automatic was seen just outside the showroom in white colour revealing new details. But now, the mid variants – VXI and VXI (O) has surfaced online revealing what these variants will sport. The VXI can be seen with the new front grille in piano black, sleeker Halogen Projector Headlamps, L-shape LED DRLs replaced with chrome strip, and below that is the halogen indicators. Fog lamps are not present with this variant.

Moreover, you can body-coloured door handles, steel wheels finished in black, turn indicators on ORVMs, and a keyhole for manual key start functionality. Inside, you can see the dash-mounted 7-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, Automatic climate control, fabric seat upholstery, and audio controls mounted on steering wheel. The VXI trim however doesn’t get rear parking camera, rear AC vents, and electrically adjustable ORVMs. Also, worth adding that VXI doesn’t get request sensor on driver but it does on the VXI(O) trim.
Other than that, the new Swift will come with new 1.2 L Z12E Petrol engine producing 81.8 BHP and 112 NM Torque mated to an 5 Speed Manual (MT) and Automatic (AMT) Gearbox with fuel efficiency of 25.72 KMPL which is a big improvement over its predecessors. The new Swift launches on May 9th, 2024 and its expected to be priced between Rs. 6.50 – Rs. 9.50 Lakhs. Upon its launch, it’ll take on Hyundai’s Grand i10 Nios and Tata Tiago.
