This year, Maruti intends to revamp its well-known tallboy hatchback, the WagonR. Given that this is one of Maruti’s best-selling vehicles, it will transform their business.
New WagonR Facelift: What’s New?
Though its front and rear fascias will be updated, the new WagonR will have the same design language. It is probably going to have a new front bumper with a new grille design, a new alloy design on the side, and a reworked bumper on the back. With this impending facelift, a new headlamp and taillamp setup should be possible. Its interior will resemble that of the present model, with a few small adjustments.
The same 1.0 L NA petrol engine, which produces 65.71 Bhp and 89 Nm of peak torque, and the 1.2 L naturally aspirated petrol engine, which produces 88.5 Bhp and 113 Nm of peak torque, will both be found under the hood. Both engines will be coupled to a 5-speed MT or AMT. This will also apply to its S-Cng variation.
The mid-2024 release of the redesigned WagonR is expected to fall between the ex-showroom pricing range of Rs. 6 lakhs and Rs. 8 lakhs.
