Maruti will be launching a new Rs. 20 Lakh SUV with abundance of features. Moreover, it features premium styling, while also offering good space and comfort along with premium feel. This Rs. 20 Lakh SUV in question is the Maruti eVX which is their first-ever EV launching soon. Here’s everything you need to know!
Many times, the eVX has been spied revealing key details like the EV are equipped with LED projector headlamps, V-shaped LED DRLs, disc brakes for all four wheels, alloy wheels, a rear wiper with washer, a large roof spoiler, door handles located on the C-pillar, a gloss-black finished shark fin antenna, connected LED tail-lamps, cameras on the ORVMs, a radar module on the front fascia for ADAS, and a car charging port positioned on the left front fender.

The interiors were spied as well and it revealed key details such as he new two-spoke steering wheel with flat bottom effect while the controls are finished in gloss black, although it’s possible Maruti may change the controls to touch-sensitive given its becoming a trend these days. The dashboard of the spied SUV for the Indian market appears to be covered with cloth, but it’s likely to feature a free-standing 10.25-inch dual display setup, with one screen dedicated to the cluster and the other for infotainment purposes.
Additionally, vertically-positioned central AC vents, an electronic parking brake with auto hold function on the center console, and various testing equipment can be observed, albeit partially obscured due to camouflage. On the top, the eVX is expected to boast a panoramic sunroof, while the rear will likely feature AC vents. The entire cabin is anticipated to be complemented by a dual-tone theme, adding to its aesthetic appeal.
The eVX measures 4300 MM Long, 1800 MM Wide, and 1600 MM Tall making it the same size as the most compact SUVs on sale in India. Moreover, the EV is equipped with a 60 kWh battery pack offering 550 KM Range on single charge with All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) System.
Feature-wise, the EV is expected to boasts plethora of features such as ventilated front seat, wireless charging pad, dual-zone climate control, electric parking brake with auto hold, drive and traction modes, 360 Surround View Camera, 6 Airbags as standard, TPMS, Hill Descent Control, Ambient Light, and so much more.
Maruti Suzuki will be launching it’s first-ever electric SUV in 2025, and when it launches, the compact SUV will rival the likes of MG ZS EV, upcoming Hyundai Creta EV [launch in Jan 2025], and Tata Curvv EV [launch in Sept 2024]. Maruti is expected to price the eVX from Rs. 20 Lakhs.
