Maruti Suzuki will be soon launching its new Rs. 7 Lakh Sedan that rival the likes of Hyundai Aura, Tata Tigor, and Honda Amaze. The upcoming new generation Dzire will sport crazy new features that’s surely going to change the segment forever. Here’s everything you need to know!
The upcoming next-generation Maruti Dzire has been spotted numerous times testing sometimes on highways or in some hilly areas, revealing significant updates. The exterior features a hexagonal front grille, sleek LED DRLs and headlamps, revamped bumpers, and chrome accents. It rides on new 16-inch alloy wheels and boasts LED tail lamps with Y-shape design with-in them.

Inside, the Dzire takes inspiration from recent Maruti models like the Baleno, Brezza, and Fronx. It includes a new free-standing 9-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a dual-tone dashboard, a new climate control panel with an LCD display, a 3-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, fabric seat upholstery, USB-C and USB-A charging ports, and 60:40 split rear seats. Additionally, it features a segment-first single-pane sunroof.

In Engine Options, the new Dzire will also come with the new 1.2 L 3 Cylinder Z12E Petrol Engine producing 80.46 BHP, and 111.7 NM Torque mated to both 5 Speed Manual and Automatic Gearbox. Maruti will also offer a CNG option with this engine at a later date except automatic transmission will not be available.
The new Dzire is packed with features such as a 9-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless charging pad, automatic climate control, a sunroof, rear AC vents, a 6-speaker sound system, and more. In terms of safety, it includes ABS with EBD, ESC, traction control, 6 airbags, front discs, a 360-degree surround view camera, and hill start assist, among other features.
The current Dzire is priced between Rs. 6.57 – Rs. 9.39 lakh. The new Dzire is expected to be priced between Rs. 7 – Rs. 10 lakh. It will continue to compete with models like the Honda Amaze which is also getting new generation during the festive season; Tata Tigor, and Hyundai Aura when it launches in the second half of 2024.
