Maruti’s upcoming mini-Ertiga under 7 lakhs: Key Highlights!
Maruti is scheduled to release a new compact MPV, positioned beneath the Ertiga, in the near future. This MPV is probably going to be modelled after the company’s Japanese model, the Spacia. This will result in fierce competition in the small MPV market.
The New Maruti MPV (YDB): Key Details
Maruti Suzuki is prepared to formally introduce its newest offering in the compact MPV market, codenamed YDB.
This small SUV will be based on the Japanese-market Maruti Spacia compact MPV.
Most likely to have a unique style while maintaining the boxy shape of its Japanese brother in order to provide a roomier cabin.
Most likely to have a roomy interior with seven seats and an impressive array of features.
It is expected to have a new 1.2-liter Z series petrol engine under the hood, the same engine that powers the upcoming new generation Swift.
Both an automatic and a manual gearbox will be available.
The Japanese automaker will rank this new offering below the Ertiga and XL6.
To give it a more upscale appearance, Maruti’s new 7-seater MPV will be offered for sale through their Nexa Dealerships.
This will fight against Nissan’s planned 7-seater compact MPV and the Renault Triber
