Morris Garages is quickly entering into different car segments in India after the great success of Hector SUV. They had a great start in the Indian market and also the eZS is getting good numbers as well. They already have their third car in the form of Hector Plus and the fourth product will be feature rich flagship SUV.
MG Gloster is a three row SUV which is 5 metres in length and will compete with the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour and Mahindra Alturas G4. It is basically a rebadged version of Maxus D90 sold in the Chinese market.
MG Gloster is bigger than even above segment vehicles including Toyota Land Cruiser in terms of length and wheelbase. It is 5,005 mm in length, 1,932 mm wide and 1,875 mm tall while the wheelbase is 2,950 mm. Wheel size is 19-inches while the ground clearance of MG Gloster is 210 mm.

MG Gloster has a massive front grille with three slats. Headlamps are LED Projector with thick LED DRL. Fog lamps are surrounded by silver C-shaped surrounds and the lights are all LED. Gloster has a great road presence and looks quite muscular and bold.
Wheel arch as well as side cladding is available along with side foot step. Exterior door handles are in chrome finish and chrome has also been used on the window belt line. Tail lamps are LED and Gloster is lettered word by word above the rear bumper which has twin exhausts.
MG Gloster will have a premium cabin with horizontal 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with all the modern connectivity options with air con vents placed below it. Leather wrapped steering wheel is slightly different to that of Hector. It will have bench as well as captain seat options for the second row.

MG Gloster will be introduced in India in festive season this year, most probably October 2020. Although most of the car launch has been delayed to next year but Morris Garages have confirmed to bring the SUV on the roads by this year only.
