MG Motors 2023 reports -7.4% decline in sales!

MG Motors announced it did retail sales of 4,193 units alone in February 2023. MG Motors ramping up the production of other models to meet the demands it’s facing because of the supply chain.

MG Motors Sales

MG Motors did a sales of 4,193 units when compared to last year, it reports 7.4 % decline where sales was 4,528 units. However, it showed 1.9 % growth in February 2023 when compared to January 2023 sales of 4,114 units. The decrease in sales could be because of the market competition, supply chain issues, or consumer behavior.

MG Motors recently launched the new Hector in January with many new features that should attract more customers not only towards Hector, but to other models like Astor, Gloster, and ZS EV as well. MG updated the Gloster in August 2022 with ADAS, 2WD and 4WD options with 6 – 7 seater variants. It also gets 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine with more than 75 connected car tech.

MG commits to building robust EV ecosystem and inaugurated 12 DC fast-charging stations for EVs on the Delhi-Jalandar corridor in collaboration with BPCL (Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited). This initiative will help boost the EV market of India and accelerate the transition from fossil fuels to sustainable mobility. MG with the expansion of it’s ZS EV, the first pure electric vehicle in India, aims to increase the demands of EVs in the market building a sustainable future for India and a greener environment for the world.
