MG hector sales figures released, better than the previous year even after the supply chain constraint
MG has been in the Indian market for a long time. It is mostly famous for its features, ride quality, and diesel engine. It launched its first car in the MG Hector in the year 2018, after that to compete with the Fortuner and Endeavour Mg launched the Gloster which is still available in the Indian Market. MG is also one of those brands who boosted the Electic car segment, they launched the MG ZSEV as their first Electric car. Now, they had released their sales figures for April where it can be observed that MG has grown by 126% as compared with last year’s sales, in detail MG sold 4,551 units whereas last year MG sold 2,008 units in April. Now these figures won’t look that much but MG still succeeds to do this even after Supply Chain constraints.

The MG Comet is available in the single-range battery pack that is the 17kWh which returns a range of 230km. This battery pack produces 41bhp and 110nm of torque.
MG Hector engine specifications
MG Hector is available in 2 engine options both are turbocharged engines, starting with the 1.5L Turbo petrol engine that produces 141bhp of maximum power and 250nm of maximum torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed MT as well as a DCT gearbox. The other engine is the 2.0L diesel engine that produces 170bhp of maximum power and 350nm of maximum torque. The engine is mated with a 6-speed MT only.
MG Gloster engine specifications
MG Gloster is available in only one engine and gearbox which is the 2.0L Turbocharged diesel engine that produces 158bhp of maximum power and 373nm of maximum torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed gearbox.
MG Astor Engine specifications
MG Astor is available in 2 petrol engines which is the 1.5L NA 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 108bhp of maximum power and 144nm of torque.
