Exterior
The 2025 MG Astor showcases a refreshed exterior design with significant updates. At the front, it features a new octagonal grille, a sportier bumper, and redesigned headlamps. The bonnet appears slightly longer, while the nose is flatter compared to the current model. The grille and bumper design draw inspiration from the MG3 hatchback. Notably, the MG emblem is now positioned on top of the front bumper rather than the grille.
Moving to the rear, the updated Astor sports new tail-lamps, a redesigned tailgate, and a new bumper. The registration plate has been relocated to the middle of the tailgate, unlike its previous bumper-mounted position. The window area appears larger, enhancing the SUV’s overall design. Additionally, the new alloy wheel design further distinguishes the updated Astor.
Interior
Inside, the 2025 MG Astor receives several upgrades that set it apart from the current version available in India. It features a new, wider, and shorter 12.3-inch touchscreen, restyled quadrilateral AC vents, and a redesigned center console. The sportier-looking steering wheel, vertically arranged charging pad, yacht-style gear selector, and a 7-inch instrument screen are among the notable changes.

What We Think!
The 2025 MG Astor brings significant upgrades to its exterior, interior, and powertrain, making it a strong contender in the SUV segment. The refreshed design, advanced features, and the introduction of a strong hybrid powertrain demonstrate MG’s commitment to innovation. However, the availability of the hybrid setup in India remains uncertain, which could be a deciding factor for potential buyers. Overall, the new Astor appears well-equipped to attract a wide range of customers, combining style, technology, and performance.
