MG Motors Sales in June 2023 were 5,121 units with 13.72% year-on-year growth against the 4,503 units in June 2022 with volume growth by 618 units. When comparing to it’s previous month, May 2023, which is 5,006 units, it reports month-on-month growth by 2.30% with volume growth by 115 units. So, MG Motors year-on-year growth remains positive and the month-on-month growth is also positive. However, these numbers should increased more after the launch of the MG Gloster Black Storm Edition, and their mini EV, Comet, both of them should bring more numbers in sales.

This improved percentage figure over the last year signifies MG Motors brand building in India and how it’s solidifying it’s position against it’s rivals. However, when the Q2 2023 to the Q1 2023, it reports month-on-month decline by 1.27% over the 14,358 units with volume decline by 183 units.

MG Motors recently had launched a new EV in India, Comet EV, that is even smaller than the Tata Nano, and it’s an nice small EV for local driving. It comes with features like automatic climate control, dual 10.25-inch displays – one for infotainment system and one for digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple Carplay/Android Auto, LED headlamps and taillights, voice command, keyless entry, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and few more. In Safety, it’s got TPMS, two airbags, reverse-parking camera with rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, ESC, and ISOFIX anchorages.
