New Hyundai Creta Facelift: What you need to know!
India’s best-selling SUV for years, Hyundai Creta will be getting the facelift update on 16th January, 2024, but before that takes place, a test mule was spotted which reveals new details about the SUV. The Facelift follows new design language as seen on the recently launched new Sante Fe (launched internationally), and Exter which is the H-shaped lighting elements and square shape design for the headlamps.
The test mule as you can see in the image above shows the connected LED light at rear which looks like the evolved version of the Hyundai Venue, and Verna. Another new detail is the new five-spoke curve-ish design for the alloy wheels. The diamond-cut, dual-tone alloys looks very sportier than the current version, plus if the earlier rumors are true, this could be the 18-inch alloy wheels and new design for the new wheels kinda makes sense.
Moreover, you can also notice there is side footstep likely to be made of hard plastic; can be helpful for elderly and children during the in and out. This may also indicate that Hyundai might’ve increased the ground clearance of the SUV. Other than that, the SUV will be getting new front face, new LED headlamps, bumpers, new dashboard layout, new 10.25-inch dual-screen setup, and so much more.
In Engine Options, the Hyundai Creta will continue to sport the 1.5 L 4 Cylinder Petrol, and the 1.5 L 4 Cylinder Diesel Engine. However, Hyundai will introduce a new engine for the Creta which we have seen it in the Alcazar, and the Verna. The 1.5 L Turbo Petrol Engine which produces 157.57 BHP and 253 NM of torque paired with the 6 Speed Manual, and 7 Speed DCT Gearbox.
Also, it’ll get new features like 360 Surround View Camera with front and rear parking sensors, heated seats, possibly co-driver powered seats, and Level 2 ADAS with features same as the 2023 Hyundai Verna such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Monitoring System, and more.
