Sonet Facelift Front Profile
Kia has finally launched the new Sonet Facelift for the Indian Market from Rs. 7.99 Lakh, and with this facelift, it gets new features, cosmetic changes over the pre-facelift version, and importantly ADAS for the SUV.
After globally debuting the Sonet Facelift in December, Kia has finally launched the SUV for the Indian Market from Rs. 7.99 Lakh to Rs. 15.69 Lakh. Deliveries is expected to begin from mid-January. The new SUV gets design changes like new tri-cube LED headlamps similar to the current Seltos, L-shaped LED DRLs that frames the headlamp units, front grille is slightly thinner and wider with chrome bits on it, new bumper that houses LED Fog lamps mounted horizontally.

The side profile is simple with creases except it gets new design for the 16-inch alloy wheel. The rear profile features a new spoiler for sporty feeling, new connected LED tail lamps that looks a lot similar to the Seltos and Carens, and the rear bumper is now a bit chunky.Jumping inside, it has the updated 10.25-inch infotainment system, small tiny digital screen below that displays the temperature, vertically-positioned AC vents and the dashboard has the dual-tone option as well. The SUV gets an all-new 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster which is the same unit as the Seltos, and it displays map directions, ADAS functions, and many more. Moreover, it has features like the ventilated seats, 360 Surround View Camera, Front and Rear Parking Sensors, 7 Speaker Bose Sound System, Level 1 ADAS with Lane Keep Assist, Blind. Spot Monitor, Lane Departure Warning, and more; Ambient Lights, All wheels with Disc Brakes, One touch up/down for all windows, 4-way Power Adjustable Driver Seat, and so much more.The SUV comes with 3 Engine Choices – 1.2 L Petrol with 6 Speed Manual, 1.0 L Turbo Petrol with 6 Speed IMT & 7 Speed DCT Gearbox, and 1.5 L Diesel with 6 Speed Manual / IMT / Automatic Gearbox. The new Sonet competes with the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Maruti Fronx, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Hyundai Venue, and Mahindra XUV300.
