Maruti had offered benefits upto Rs. 1.5 Lakh in June 2024 but for this month of July, they’ve further increased it, now totalling Rs. 3.3 Lakh thus, surpassing the Rs. 2 Lakh Discount provided with the Thunder Edition late last year to clear inventory. The current benefits include a mix of cash discounts and additional perks through Maruti Suzuki’s finance services.

The base Zeta trim receives a cash discount of Rs 1.75 Lakh, while the top-spec Alpha trim offers a Rs 1.85 lakh cash discount. Additionally, buyers who choose Maruti Suzuki’s financing can enjoy further benefits worth Rs 1.5 lakh, bringing the total to Rs 3.3 lakh. The top-trim Alpha Automatic on-road price is around Rs. 17.11 Lakh and if we apply the Rs. 3.3 Lakh Discount, it drops to Rs. 13.81 Lakh which makes it cheaper than the base Zeta trim at Rs. 14.61 lakh (on-road, Delhi).
Moreover, if you apply the same discount on the base Zeta trim of Rs. 14.61 Lakh (on-road, Delhi), the price drops further down to Rs. 11.30 Lakh which is very amazing price for a small 5-door off-road SUV.
Maruti has been struggling with the Jimny for strong sales performance and despite having strong start with the SUV when it launched in June 2023 with 3,778 units sales, it now struggles to make pass the 300-mark. These substantial incentives aim to revitalize Jimny’s market presence and attract new buyers amidst declining sales.
