Toyota has finally launched the rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, the Urban Cruiser Taisor, and is now the most affordable Toyota SUV in India.

Toyota has launched the new Taisor for the Indian Market which essentially a rebadged Maruti Suzuki Fronx. The Taisor features cosmetic changes over the Fronx such as redesigned front grille with honeycomb pattern, Twin LED DRLs compared to Tri-Cube Nexa-ish DRLs; slightly restyled front bumpers, and flat C-shape LED Tail-lamps which is different from its donor SUV; and the LED Light bar on Taisor is same as the Fronx. Additionally, the Taisor gets a new design for the 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Jumping to the inside. the SUV gets dual-tone brown and black upholstery . The layout is exactly the same as the Fronx like the free-standing 9-inch Infotainment System with Wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, Auto Climate control with LCD screen showing temperature; thin AC Vents, 3-spoke steering wheel with Heads-up Display (HUD) behind, and so on.
The Taisor gets 3 Powertrains on offer – 1.0 L Turbo Petrol producing 98.69 BHP and 147.6 NM Torque mated to 5 Speed MT and 6 Speed AT; 1.2 L Petrol generating 88.50 BHP and 113 NM Torque, offered with a 5 Speed MT/AMT; and 1.2 L CNG delivering 76.48 BHP and 98.5 NM Torque, paired with a 5 Speed MT.
In terms of Features, it has Wireless Charging Pad, Rear AC, 9-inch Infotainment, 360 Surround View Camera, Hill Assist, 6 Airbags, Heads-up Display (HUD), Auto-Dimming IRVM, and so on.
