Royal Enfield is set to launch three new bikes in the 650cc segment for the Indian market by the end of this year or in the first half of 2025. Here’s what you need to know about these upcoming models before their official debut.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 650
The latest spy shots reveal the much-anticipated Royal Enfield Himalayan 650 with several exciting updates. This adventure tourer will retain the 648cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin engine, now slightly tuned for enhanced off-road performance. Key upgrades include a two-in-one upswept exhaust, dual front disc brakes—marking a first for Royal Enfield—and a USD fork. The Himalayan 650 will also feature adjustable suspension settings and a digital instrument cluster, similar to the Himalayan 450, with Bluetooth connectivity and Google Maps integration. The launch price is anticipated to be around Rs 4.2 lakh, though the exact release date is yet to be confirmed.
Royal Enfield Interceptor Bear 650
The Royal Enfield Interceptor Bear 650, a new scrambler variant, has been spotted in near-production form. This model will highlight a circular LED tail lamp with chrome accents, 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoked wheels with block-pattern tyres, a tuck and roll seat, and a wide handlebar. The Bear 650 will come equipped with USD front forks, twin rear shocks, and disc brakes front and rear with dual-channel ABS. It will be powered by the 648cc parallel-twin engine, delivering 46.5 PS of power and 52 Nm of torque. The expected starting price is between Rs 3.5 lakh and Rs 3.6 lakh (ex-showroom).
Royal Enfield Classic 650 Twin
The Royal Enfield Classic 650 Twin, recently trademarked, is set to be the most budget-friendly model in Royal Enfield’s 650cc lineup. This retro cruiser will feature a design distinct from the Classic 350 and will be powered by the same 648cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine, producing 46.5 PS of power and 52 Nm of torque. The Classic 650 Twin will incorporate design elements from the Shotgun 650, ensuring a classic aesthetic while maintaining modern performance standards.
