The 2024 Kia Carnival Facelift has been spotted testing with significant updates. The new design features an upright front nose, wide grille with chrome accents, L-shaped LED DRLs, and a vertically-positioned LED headlamp setup. The rear includes L-shaped tail-lamps connected by an LED light bar and a mixed-material rear bumper. Inside, the MPV will resemble the global model with dual 12.3-inch displays, reworked HVAC controls, rotary drive selector, and optional 14.6-inch rear entertainment screen. Other features include ventilated and heated seats, dual sunroof, KRELL sound system, and various safety systems like 8 airbags and ADAS. The facelift Carnival is expected to retain the diesel engine it used before discontinuing the MPV, and it’ll likely meet BS6 norms.
Along with EV9, the Carnival will be initially available as a CBU, so expect a Rs. 50 Lakh starting price.
The Kia EV9 is a 5.01-meter electric SUV with a 3.1-meter wheelbase, offering up to 541 kilometers of range. It’s built on the E-GMP platform and gets two battery packs:
Features include Level 3 ADAS, LED headlamps, Remote Parking Assist, Digital Mirrors, 14-speaker Meridian sound system, Dual Sunroofs, Heads-up Display, 2nd Row Swivel Seats (6-seater), 3-zone Climate Control, Dual 12.3-inch displays, Power Tailgate, and a 360 Surround View Camera. In India, the EV9 will be a limited CBU import, with around 2500 units expected and a price around Rs. 1 Crore, competing primarily with the BMW iX.

Interior features are expected to resemble the Seltos, including a 10.25-inch infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital cluster, updated controls, and an electric parking brake. Both the EV and ICE versions are likely to offer 6 and 7-seater options, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, and new upholstery.
