Bajaj has also extended the wheelbase, resulting in a roomier floorboard and an 80mm longer seat for enhanced rider and pillion comfort. Additionally, the scooter now includes a dedicated compartment for the charging cable, adding to its practicality.
Battery specifications:
- Charges from 0 to 80% in just 3 hours.
- 3.5 kWh battery capacity.
- Claimed range of 153 km on a full charge.
- Real-world range of approximately 125 km.
- Supports fast charging with a 950W onboard quick charger.
Enhanced Features and Performance
The Chetak 35 Series sets a benchmark in smart mobility with advanced features tailored for modern riders. The top-spec Chetak 3501 is equipped with a vibrant touchscreen TFT display that supports smartphone connectivity, navigation, music control, and call management. This ensures a connected and seamless riding experience. The mid-spec Chetak 3502 features a 5-inch non-touchscreen TFT display, while the base 3503 comes with drum brakes at both ends and basic instrumentation.
Performance-wise, the new 4kW permanent magnet motor offers a top speed of 73 km/h, catering to both city commutes and leisure rides. Riders can switch between Eco and Sports modes based on their preference for efficiency or performance. On the hardware front, the scooter retains a monoshock setup at both ends, paired with a front disc and rear drum brake for reliable handling and braking.
