MG Motors has recently trademarked a new nameplate, “Excelor EV,” in India. This move suggests the possibility of introducing their third electric vehicle (EV) to the Indian market. The trademark application was submitted on December 26, 2023, and the current status shows “Accepted & Advertised.”
Currently, details regarding the size, shape, or design of the Excelor EV model from MG Motors remain undisclosed. It’s important to note that trademark registration does not necessarily indicate an imminent car launch; rather, it serves to secure rights for potential future use. Notably, MG does not have any existing model named “Excelor” in any international market.
