Kia currently has four models for sale in India – Seltos, Sonet, EV6, and Carens. The next-gen Carnival is set to launch in India later this year, but moreover, Kia is also looking to launch an full size SUV to compete with the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Meridian, and MG Gloster.

In other countries, the SUV is powered by the 3.8 L V6 Engine, but when it launches in India, it’s highly possible this SUV will be powered by the 2.2 L 4 Cylinder Diesel Engine that generates 197 BHP and 440 NM of torque mated to 8 Speed Torque Converter Automatic Gearbox.
