Honda will be bring ADAS in the next-gen Amaze for the Indian Market and few new features as well to take on Maruti Dzire, and Hyundai Aura!

Honda had announced that’ll be debuting the next-generation of Amaze globally sometime in 2024 and it’ll share underpinnings with the upcoming Honda Elevate SUV. However, you should know everything about the upcoming Amaze 2024 before it officially launches.

Honda Amaze 2024 – What you need to know!

The Amaze has been in the market since 2018 and it only once got a mid-life update in 2021. The next-gen Amaze will be a petrol only model and will share few elements with the Element SUV. It’ll most likely get a new look from the outside, i.e. cosmetic changes with few additional features inside the Amaze. As a matter of fact, the Amaze design was inspired from the Accord, and similar approach can be taken for the next-gen Amaze as well.

In Dimensions, the Amaze will continue to measure under 4ms in length. The current Amaze has a length of 3995mm, width of 1695mm, and height of 1501mm with a wheelbase of 2470mm, ground clearance of 165mm, boot space of 420 litres, and fuel tank of 25 litres. In the next-gen Amaze, it is possible that the wheelbase could get increased to 2500mm, and boot space could get reduced from 420 litres to 400 litres or maybe below 400 litres.

The Next-gen Amaze will have be powered by the same engine option as the current one which is 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine producing 88.50 bhp and 110 Nm of torque paired to 5-speed Manual Gearbox with 18.6 kmpl fuel efficiency and CVT Gearbox with 18.3 kmpl fuel efficiency. Previously, Honda had Amaze with a factory-fitted CNG Cylinder, the current one doesn’t have CNG fuel on offer, but many carmakers in India are adding CNG option to their models, and it’s possible with the next-gen Amaze, Honda might add the CNG option for the Indian market.

Now, when it comes to features, the Amaze has LED Projector headlamps, 15-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate controls, 7-inch infotainment system with Apple Carplay/Android Auto, voice control, in-built 4-speaker sound system, height-adjustable driver seat, two airbags, cruise control, ABS with EBD, and Automatic headlamps. With the next-gen Amaze, it’ll get new features such as wireless charging pad, 8-inch infotainment system, rear AC vents, six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and ADAS with slew of features like Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Mitigation Braking, Road Departure Mitigation System, Automatic High Beam Assist, and few more.

As for the pricing, the current Amaze starts at Rs. 7.05 lakh and for the next-gen Amaze, we can expect the price to definitely go up and start at Rs. 7.5 lakh. On it’s launch, it’ll rival the Maruti Dzire, and Hyundai Aura, but Honda won’t have problem fighting them as it’ll be way ahead of them and will likely attract customers towards them leading to increase in sales for the Amaze and for Honda.
