Honda has launched the City Hatchback Facelift at a starting price of Rs. 15.31 Lakh with cosmetic updates, and enhanced safety for all occupants; plus the updates are similar to the sedan version.
Honda introduced the facelift of Honda City Hatchback in Malaysia with starting price of Rs. 15.31 Lakhs [RM 85,900]. It’s available in 5 variants – S, E, V, RS, and e:HEV. The RS trim replaces the V trim with Honda Sensing Suite. Moreover, we can see the large grille with new mesh insert design. The updated hatch features a slimmer chrome bar at the top and variant-specific revisions to the bumper. The RS variants boast a honeycomb mesh for the lower intake and new faux air inlets on the sides, complemented by a sportier fog lamp garnish.

The S and E variants are equipped with 15-inch Alloy wheels. while the other three variants feature 16-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, non-RS models receive a new black valance and a body-colored panel strip. In contrast, the RS variants are fitted with a sportier diffuser and black side mirror covers.In terms of dimensions, non-RS variants remain largely unchanged from the pre-facelift model, measuring 4350 MM in Length, 1748 MM in Width, and 1488 MM in Height — an increase of 1 MM in length and 18 MM in height. RS variants are slightly longer at 4,369 MM, primarily due to the unique bumpers. The boot space remains at 289 Litres, expandable to 841 Litres with the rear seats folded.The hot hatch comes powered by the 1.5 L 4 Cylinder Inline Petrol Engine producing 119 BHP and 145 NM Torque paired to an CVT Gearbox. The e:HEV or Hybrid variant gets 1.5 L Petrol engine with a 108 BHP electric motor; when working on its own it produces 97 BHP and 127 NM with transmission being CVT.
The 2024 Honda City Hatchback facelift continues to offer a range of premium features, including leather upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear shift knob, and rear AC vents. Additional amenities include a 7-inch TFT instrument display, Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and Honda Connect services.For enhanced passenger safety, all variants of the facelift now comes standard with 6 airbags and the Honda Sensing suite, which includes ADAS features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Auto High Beam, Road Departure Mitigation, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, etc. The top-spec RS hybrid variant also includes an electronic parking brake with auto hold function.
