The new Alcazar sports a striking mono-tone red and black exterior. Drawing inspiration from the Santa Fe, it boasts H-shaped LED DRLs, quad-beam headlamps from the Creta, a large front grille with horizontal chrome slats, and faux skid plates. The side profile features new 8-spoke alloy wheels and functional roof rails, while the rear is enhanced with vertically positioned LED tail-lamps, reminiscent of the Palisade. Look closely, and you’ll spot the radar module on the lower air intake grille and a camera module on the top windshield – a nod to its ADAS capabilities.
Inside, the Alcazar facelift is expected to share many features with the Creta. This includes a dashboard equipped with dual 10.25-inch displays for infotainment and digital clusters, a new HVAC panel for dual-zone climate control, and a center console with a wireless charging pad, electric parking brake, drive and traction mode rotary dials, and cupholders. The panoramic sunroof remains a highlight. The cabin now offers new upholstery options in dark brown, white, and black. Ventilated second-row captain seats might also be available in the top-spec trims, and the third row is set to offer improved comfort.

Hyundai will likely retain the two options it’s offering with the current Alcazar, but also bring back the 1.5 L NA Petrol engine.
The Alcazar was already known for its rich feature set, including a 10.25-inch infotainment system, front ventilated seats, electric parking brake with auto hold, powered driver seat, captain seats, panoramic sunroof, six airbags, drive and traction modes, automatic climate control, and front and rear parking sensors. The facelift ups the ante with Level 2 ADAS featuring 19 functions, dual-zone climate control, powered tailgate, dashcam, rear sunshades, and potentially heated seats in the top trim.
Hyundai plans to launch the new Alcazar during the festive season in September 2024 due to backlog of current models to clear. The facelifted version is expected to be priced between Rs. 17 lakhs and Rs. 22 lakhs.
