Ahead of their respective launches during the festive season, Hyundai Alcazar Facelift and the Kia Carnival Facelift were spotted together undergoing tests in India. Both the models were completely camouflaged revealing not much than we already know. Here’s all the details about the two models –
2024 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift – What You Should Know!
The new model features design elements inspired by the Santa Fe, including H-shaped LED DRLs, quad-beam headlamps, a large front grille with horizontal chrome slats, and faux skid plates. The side profile includes new 8-spoke alloy wheels and functional roof rails, while the rear has vertically positioned LED tail-lamps inspired by the Palisade.

The updated Alcazar’s interiors are expected to mirror the Creta’s, featuring dual 10.25-inch displays for infotainment and the digital cluster, a new HVAC panel, and a panoramic sunroof.
Engine options remain the same: a 1.5 L turbo petrol engine with 157.81 BHP and 253 NM torque, available with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT gearbox, and a 1.5 L diesel engine with 114 BHP and 250 NM torque, mated to a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox.
Features include dual-zone climate control, a 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, powered front seats, ventilated and heated seats, a powered tailgate, rear sunshade, second-row captain seats, and a dashcam for all trims.
2024 Kia Carnival Facelift – What You Should Know!
The Kia Carnival facelift was spotted testing, revealing an upright front nose, wide grille with chrome inserts, L-shaped LED DRLs, vertically positioned LED headlamps, and a faux silver skid plate. It features 18-inch alloy wheels, functional roof rails, sliding doors for the 2nd and 3rd rows, and a textured pattern on the rear quarter glass. The rear has L-shaped tail-lamps connected by an LED light bar and a mix of black plastic and faux silver trim on the bumper.
Inside, it has a minimalistic theme with dual 12.3-inch displays, reworked HVAC controls, rotary drive selector, dash cameras, head-up display, digital rear-view mirror, upgraded digital key, and ambient lighting. A 14.6-inch entertainment unit for the 2nd row is possible.
The previous 2.2 L turbo diesel engine with 197.2 BHP and 440 NM torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, may be retained and updated to BS6 norms.
Features include ventilated and heated seats, dual sunroof, dynamic torque vectoring, and KRELL sound system. Safety includes 8 airbags and ADAS features.
