Another day, another new spy shot. Hyundai Creta EV was spotted yet again undergoing tests next to the Skoda’s Kushaq SUV in Chembur, Maharashtra with launch taking place in 2025. Here’s everything you need to know before it officially launches in 2025!

Hyundai Creta EV Spied: Exterior
The Creta EV retains much of the design of the ICE Creta Facelift, with key changes including a closed-off grille, new bumpers, LED positioning lamps, DRLs, sequential turn indicators, and an upright front hood. The side profile remains similar but features new aero-efficient 17-inch alloy wheels. The rear profile is updated with connected LED tail-lamps, sequential turn indicators, and an aerodynamic spoiler.
Hyundai Creta EV Spied: Interior
Inside, the Creta EV showcases seamless integrated dual 10.25-inch displays for the digital cluster and infotainment system. The steering wheel, resembling that of the latest Kona electric SUV, features the new Hyundai logo for electric vehicles. The drive selector has been moved to the steering column from the center console. Rest everything is the same as the ICE version.
Hyundai Creta EV Spied: Battery Specs
The Creta EV is equipped with a 45 kWh battery pack from LG Chem, aiming for a range of 450 km, though real-world conditions may yield 250 – 300 KM. The SUV includes a regenerative braking system and fast-charging capabilities similar to the Hyundai IONIQ 5, charging from 10–80% in 21 minutes with an ultra-fast charger.

Features-wise, the EV will sport front ventilated seats, a 360 Surround View Camera, Level 2 ADAS, a powered driver seat, dual-zone climate control, front and rear parking sensors, a panoramic sunroof, Electric Parking Brake with Auto hold, Bose Sound System, Hill Descent Control, etc. It’s expected to get heated front seats as a new feature.
Hyundai Creta EV Spied: Price, and Launch
The Hyundai Creta EV is expected to be priced between Rs. 20 – Rs. 25 lakhs and upon its launch, it’ll compete with MG ZS EV, and by the time it launches in 2025, it’ll have Tata Curvv EV as its new competitor. Moreover, it’ll soon have new competitors joining like Maruti eVX, and Toyota Urban EV in 2025.
