Hyundai has been spied testing its new SUV in Middle East, and from the looks, it appears to be the upcoming Alcazar facelift that is anticipated to launch in India in the coming months.
Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Spied: What does it reveal?
The test mules of the Alcazar Facelift spied in India were heavily camouflaged, leaked spy shots from the Middle East offers a sneak peak into what’s to come. The stretched-out version of Creta known as Alcazar provides lengthened wheelbase and unique exterior design along with distinct variant options. The upcoming facelift appears to follow the same strategy as the Creta Facelift. The leaked spy shots from the Middle East showcases the rear of the Facelift revealing new tail-light design.

Unlike the new Creta, the Alcazar Facelift will sport a new Palisade-inspired vertical tail-light with twin light bars parallel to each other, high-mount LED Stop Lamp on top, twin-tip exhaust setup, and slightly bigger roof-rails which may be functional unlike the current version. The shark fin antenna and ORVMs appear similar to those found on the outgoing Alcazar.
Despite positioned as Premium SUV, it lacks certain features such as ADAS which actually is the big miss. However, Hyundai will likely fill the gap with the facelift model, but moreover that are some additional features which enthusiasts are hoping for like the rear ventilated seats, or maybe rear entertainment package, or maybe a ottoman seats for 2nd row. Hyundai should also offer memory seat functions for front row, cornering lights, etc. with the facelift which are not offered with the new Creta SUV.
Hyundai is expected to launch the Alcazar Facelift in the Q3 2024.
