Hyundai Motors will be updating it’s line-up for the Indian Market coming 2025 by introducing 3 new SUVs – Creta EV, New generation Venue, and the Tucson Facelift. Let’s take a look at what these models have in store for us –
Expected Launch: January 2025
The Hyundai Creta EV retains the bold design of the ICE Creta Facelift with updates like a closed-off grille, redesigned bumpers, and new aero-efficient 18-inch alloy wheels. It features connected LED tail-lamps and an aerodynamic spoiler at the rear. Inside, the cabin is same as ICE version like dual 10.25-inch displays serve as the digital cluster and infotainment system, with the drive selector now on the steering column, new steering wheel with 4 dots which in morse code means Hyundai.Powered by a 45 kWh LG Chem battery, it aims for a range of 450–500 km, though practical use may yield 250–300 km. Fast-charging from 10–80% takes 21 minutes with an ultra-fast charger. Key amenities include front ventilated seats, a 360 Surround View Camera, Level 2 ADAS, and a Bose Sound System. Expected to be priced between Rs. 18 – 25 lakhs, it launches in January 2025, competing with the MG ZS EV, Tata Curvv EV, and also upcoming Mahindra’s BE.6e.

The 2025 Hyundai Venue will feature significant updates to its exterior and interior design, along with improved technology. The exterior gets a refreshed grille, DRLs inspired by the Ioniq 5, and redesigned headlamps, bumpers, and alloy wheels. The addition of a radar module hints at an upgrade to Level 2 ADAS, which will include features like Adaptive Cruise Control and Rear Cross Traffic Avoidance Assist, alongside the existing camera-based Level 1 ADAS functionalities. At the rear, the Venue will sport connected LED tail lamps, while the side profile retains its silhouette with new 16-inch alloys. Inside, it is expected to introduce dual 10.25-inch displays, wider seats, and an electronic parking brake on higher trims. A panoramic sunroof may replace the single-pane sunroof, while the rear seats will offer 2-step recline.
Under the hood, the Venue will likely retain its existing 1.2L petrol, 1.0L turbo petrol, and 1.5L diesel engines, paired with various transmission options. New features expected include front ventilated seats, traction modes, a 360-degree surround-view camera, and Level 2 ADAS. Production is set to begin in October 2025, with an official launch anticipated by December 2025. Pricing will range between Rs. 8 lakhs and Rs. 15 lakhs, making it a competitive option in its segment.

The new Hyundai Tucson Facelift, globally unveiled, is expected to arrive in India by 2025. It features a “Sensuous Sportiness” design language with redesigned LED lights, a new front grille, lower bumper, large fake skid plates, and lower air dams. Inside, it boasts dual 12.3-inch displays for the infotainment system and instrument cluster, along with a redesigned steering wheel with 4 dots, and dashboard.The facelifted Tucson will be powered by a 2.0L petrol and 2.0L diesel engine, available with a 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic gearbox. There’s a possibility that Hyundai might also introduce the hybrid version of the SUV in India given the demand of it is increasing. Features it comes equipped Bose Sound System, Heated steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, 8-way power adjustable front seat with lumbar support, Heads-up Display, 19-inch alloy wheels, front heated and ventilated seats, heated 2nd row seats, Level 2 ADAS, etc.
