Launch: December 11th, 2024
The 9th-generation Toyota Camry, set to launch in India on December 11th, and will feature a bold design upgrade and improved hybrid technology. Built on the TNGA-K platform, the new Camry adopts styling elements inspired by Toyota’s Crown and Prius models, such as sleek headlights and a sculpted front bumper for a more aggressive appearance. While the profile retains its classic Camry identity, the rear gets modernized taillights. India will receive the sole 2.5L petrol hybrid powertrain with an All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) system. This configuration delivers 222 BHP and 314.5 Nm of torque via an eCVT transmission, leveraging three electric motors for AWD functionality.
