Mahindra’s upcoming new SUV with 4-Wheel-Drive (4WD) Type and 500 KM Range has been spotted yet again continuing it’s daily testing before it officially launches in October 2025. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming coupe SUV!
The Mahindra BE.05 SUV stands out with its wide front featuring C-shaped LED DRLs, split LED headlamps, large air dams, and bumper-mounted fog lamps. Its muscular stance is accentuated by squared-off wheel arches and sizable wheels. Additional highlights include flush-fitting door handles, A-pillar-mounted ORVMs, connected LED taillamps, and a split spoiler for a sporty look.

Inside, the BE.05 offers an all-black cabin with silver accents and a piano black center console for a sophisticated feel. The split grey finish between the passenger and driver areas creates a cockpit-like ambiance. The floating center console includes storage underneath, a tall gear lever, push start/stop button, wireless charger, cup holder, and a rotary dial for infotainment control.
The twin-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated BE logo and touch-capacitive controls, reminiscent of recent Tata SUVs, is another highlight. The dashboard features a twin-display setup, AC vents, and a center console arm. Additional features include a frameless IRVM, pull straps on the doors instead of conventional handles, and grey fabric upholstery.
The BE.05 measures 4370 mm in length, 1900 mm in width, and 1653 mm in height, with a 2775 mm wheelbase and 205 mm ground clearance. It is expected to come with a 79 kWh LFP battery pack offering a 450 – 500 KM range. Both 2WD and 4WD options will be available, with the 2WD sporting a rear-mounted motor producing 284 BHP and 535 NM torque, and the 4WD featuring dual motors with a front-mounted motor producing 108 BHP and 135 NM torque.
The BE.05 is expected to come equipped with Level 2 ADAS, 360 Surround View Camera with Blind Spot Monitor, Panoramic Sunroof, 12.3-inch displays for infotainment and the digital cluster, front ventilated seats, powered front seats, electric parking brake with auto hold, dual-zone climate control, hill descent control, 7 airbags, and more.
Mahindra is expected to launch the BE.05 electric SUV in October 2025, with an estimated price range of Rs. 20 – Rs. 30 lakhs. It will likely compete with the Maruti Suzuki eVX, Hyundai Creta EV, and its arch-nemesis, the Tata Curvv EV.
