Mahindra has launched new Pro variants for its electric SUV, XUV400, to compete with the Tata Nexon.ev by introducing new features to position itself as a better competitor.
To ensure that the XUV400 is competitive against its one and only rival, Tata Nexon.ev, Mahindra has launched the Pro variants of the XUV400 – EC Pro and EL Pro. With new trims, Ford has enhanced the features list to make the consumer feel better about the SUV than before. Following are the prices of the XUV400 Pro trims –

The EC Pro gets 34.5 kWh Battery Pack and a 3.3 kW AC Charger with the trim costing Rs. 15.49 Lakh; whereas the EL Pro gets both 34.5 kWh and 39.4 kWh battery pack with a 7.2 kW AC Charger with price Rs. 16.74 L and Rs. 17.49 L respectively. Bookings will begin from tomorrow at a token amount of Rs. 21,000 with deliveries beginning from 1st February, 2024.
Mahindra introduced new features to XUV400 to increase the appeal. Month before this update, Mahindra had added Auto-Dimming IRVM, Cruise Control, Fog Lamps, and few other features. Here are the complete list of features both the trims get –
Mahindra XUV400 from the outside looks completely the same as before, and only the interiors tell the difference between the Pro and Non-Pro variants. The dashboard has been updated with the new larger 10.25-inch infotainment system and new fully digital 10.25-inch Cockpit Instrument Cluster with the EL Pro trim. Moreover, Mahindra has introduced dual-zone climate control, keyless entry, rear AC vents, front and rear USB Ports, TPMS, and other safety features as standard.
The Infotainment system is running on the brands Adrenox’s UI and will receive tons of Over-The-Air (OTA) updates. Notably, it also has Alexa for voice commands and a user friendly experience.
