With just two days left for the global premiere of the new XUV3XO (renamed from XUV300), Mahindra has been releasing teasers showcasing the new features the SUV is set to get compared to its previous iteration.
New Mahindra XUV3XO: What’s unveiled so far!
The XUV3XO boasts exterior enhancements inspired by Mahindra’s BE lineup. It sports a redesigned front grille with chrome accents, updated headlamp clusters, LED DRLs, connected LED tail lamps, a sleek shark fin antenna, and an integrated roof spoiler. Inside, it features a groundbreaking panoramic sunroof, replacing the previous single-pane version, along with refreshed seating featuring perforated leatherette upholstery and a revamped dashboard design.

In terms of features, it comes equipped with several first-in-segment features to roar ahead of its competitors like the Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, etc. New additions include a large 10.25-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple Carplay / Android Auto, a 10.25-inch fully digital Cockpit Cluster, Dual-Zone climate control, rear AC vents, and 7 Speaker Harman Kardon Sound System with Ambient Sound Modes.
In Safety, the SUV comprises of 7 Airbags, 360 Surround View Camera, Auto-Dimming IRVM, Front & Rear Parking Sensors, Hill Descent Control, TPMS, and first-in segment, Level 2 ADAS with likely 10 functions including Adaptive Cruise Control.
Talking about Engine Options, it’ll retain the XUV300 Powertrains – 1.2 L T-GDi Turbo Petrol engine with 129 BHP and 250 NM Torque; and 1.5 L Diesel Engine producing 116 BHP and 300 NM Torque. Both the engines have 6 Speed Manual and Automatic (AMT) Gearbox options. Mahindra are also making claims that the XUV3XO has a superior fuel efficiency of 20.1 KMPL meaning it has improved the fuel efficiency over the outgoing version’s XUV300. Moreover, the Mahindra also claims the SUV is capable of sprinting from 0 – 60 KMPH in just 4.5 Seconds which is just insane. This makes the SUV faster than before, and fun-to-drive as well.
The new XUV3XO will launch on April 29th, and it’s anticipated to be priced between Rs. 8.50 Lakh to Rs. 15 Lakh (ex-showroom); and continue its competition with rivals.
