New Maruti Alto India Launch in December 2019, Prices to start from Rs. 2.2 Lakhs

New Alto 2019 will make world debut in October 2019 and major updates will be made to the exterior and feature list

Maruti Suzuki Alto has dominated the sales chart for so many years.It is still one of the best selling cars in India.With more than 20,000 units selling per month, Alto twins, Alto 800 and K10 are the undisputed king of hatchback segment.Although they have faced quite a bit challenge from Renault Kwid in a few years.

In 2019, Maruti is looking to upgrade its highest selling model with new features, stylish exteriors and reduced prices.The SUVish stance of Kwid has been really appreciated by the customers and Maruti Alto is likely to be based on Future S concept, to give it a better position.

On the exterior front, New Alto will be entirely updated with prominent and stylish elements like bigger alloys, reworked headlamp and tail lamp unit and big bumpers for a better look.Like Swift, Dzire and other Maruti Cars, next generation alto will be based on HEARTECT platform which would result in better fuel economy and performance.

Interior of 2019 Maruti Alto will be treated with a dual tone fabric upholstery which will be very premium.The design of the steering wheel will be made a bit sportier and the key feature will be an all new infotainment system which will come with all the modern connectivity options.

Maruti will be providing a total of two engines for Alto 2019 including 0.8 L and 1.0 L engines which will be BS-VI compliant.As per latest news, Maruti Suzuki may also bring a 660 cc turbocharged version of Alto in India.This will not only be churning mileage of more than 35 kmpl but also will be priced very competitively.Automatic as well as CNG model for Alto will be offered right from the launch.

Our sources have confirmed that the introductory price of New Alto be Rs. 2.2 Lakhs with the top-spec variant costing upto Rs. 4 Lakhs (Prices, Ex-Showroom).Alto will make its world debut in the month of October 2019 and it will be launched in India in the second week of December 2019.
